The following terms and conditions relate to your membership subscription to The Unit Diet ("the programme"). By applying for membership to The Unit Diet you are confirming your acceptance to the terms and conditions set forth in this membership agreement ("this agreement")

For the purposes of this agreement, "we", "us" and "our" refers to Jigsaw Slimming.

Use of the programme

1.1 This agreement is aimed at members and potential members aged 18 or over, and the programme is only available for those people (subject to payement of membership fees and acceptance of this agreement). Those under 18 will be granted membership with medical recommendation (i.e. A letter from your GP or dietitian)

1.2 You are granted a non-exclusive right to access and use the material and information given for your personal (non-commercial) use, provided the terms of this agreement are fully complied with at all times.

1.3 You agree to be financially responsible for all fees and charges in respect to your membership with us.

1.4 You accept that, at times, it may be necessary for us to change or modify programme material. Should this situation occur, all current members will be notified.

1.5 You acknowledge that if you do not abide by the terms set out in this agreement we may terminate your membership immediately, and withdraw your membership facilities. Further applications to the programme will be denied.

1.6 We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination, or cancellation of your access to the programme.

Charges

2.1 You agree to pay the fees set out on our website for our Complete Unit Diet book.

2.2 All paper membership applications should be paid for by cheque or postal order, made payable to Jigsaw Slimming.

2.3 Those wishing to pay by credit/debit card should do so securely through our website, courtesy of PayPal.

2.4 We reserve the right to increase charges or to institute new charges at any time upon reasonable notice communicated to you through posting on the website, email or in writing to you.

2.5 In the event that we terminate or cancel your membership to this programme due to a breach of this agreement by you, you agree that all fees and charges in respect of the relevant programme are non-refundable.

Personal Information

3.1 You agree to provide us with true information about yourself. In particular, name, address, email address, telephone number and age.

3.2 You must maintain your personal information with us while you are a member, and inform us of any changes in writing or by email.

3.3 If any information provided to us is untrue, inaccurate or incomplete or we have reasonable ground to suspect that this is the case we reserve the right to terminate or suspend your membership with us.

Cancellation

4.1 The cancellation or termination of your membership to the programme is your sole right and remedy with respect to any dispute with us (subject to your statutory rights).

4.2 For cancellation rights for our Diamond Membership Plan please refer to our Diamond Membership Agreement.

Exclusions

5.1 Individuals under the age of 18 (unless written consent received from your GP or dietitian) and pregnant or breastfeeding women (unless written consent received from your midwife/GP) may not subscribe to the programme. Businesses including companies and partnerships may not subscribe to the programme.

Privacy

6.1 We will comply with all current data protection legislation. We will only use your personal information for the purposes of fulfilling our obligations to you. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.

Health Disclaimer

7.1 Before starting this weight loss programme you should make sure that you are not underweight. In any event we recommend all potential members to seek medical advice before beginning any weight loss programme.

7.2 The information and guidance provided by us offers a healthy, balanced diet if followed correctly. We cannot be held responsible for problems resulting from individuals not following the advice of Jigsaw Slimming.

7.3 The information given out by Jigsaw Slimming (in our publications or through our website) is intended to help individuals with weight reduction. We are not a medical organisation and cannot give you medical diagnosis or advice.

7.4 The material contained in our publications and on our website is to be used as a guide to weight loss.

Restrictions

All Intellectual Property Rights in the programme and in any other documentation, specifications or materials is and will remain the property of us and you will not acquire any title, right or interest in any such Intellectual Property Rights.
